Tag Company Pages on LinkedIn — Finally

You know what’s annoying? Writing a post about a company, wanting to tag them, and then… not being able to do it properly.
You end up just typing the company name like a regular word. No link. No notification to them. No chance they’ll see it and share your post to their 50,000 followers.
Well, that changes today.
Introducing: Company Mentions
You can now tag company pages on LinkedIn directly from PostHero.
Mention partners. Tag clients (with their permission, obviously). Give a shoutout to that company whose product you love. Actually get noticed.
Here’s how it works:
How to Mention a Company
Step 1: Type @ in the Editor
Just like you’d mention a person. Type @ and watch the magic happen.
You’ll see suggestions pop up — your connected pages and any companies you’ve saved before.
Step 2: Choose a Company (or Add a New One)
See the company you want? Click it. Done.
Don’t see it? No problem. Just select “Mention other company” and paste the company’s LinkedIn URL. That’s it.
Step 3: Save for Later (Optional but Smart)
Here’s a pro tip: save the company page for future use.
That way, next time you want to mention them, they’ll show up in your suggestions automatically. No more hunting for URLs. No more copy-pasting. Just type @ and pick.
How to Know It Worked
When you successfully mention a company, you’ll see it highlighted with a yellow background in the editor.
Yellow = tagged. No yellow = just plain text.
Easy visual confirmation. No guessing.
Why This Matters
Tagging companies isn’t just about looking professional (though it does help). It’s about visibility.
When you tag a company:
- They get notified
- Their followers might see your post
- You build a connection (even if it’s small)
